Greetings and Welcome -

The purpose of this e-portfolio is to convey my interest in obtaining a position with UnitedHealth Group. This site contains a collection ofinformation intended to demonstrate my employability, along with why I would appreciate an opportunity to be considered as a qualified candidate to this most respectable and reputable company, UnitedHealth.

I currently possess an Associate of Arts degree, and I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science from Florida State University (via distance learning) with one-third of my coursework remaining. The highly regarded curriculum has well prepared me for a career in the fast-paced business world and insurance industry. Further, my training in insurance has provided invaluable experience in coordinating and managing sales, policies, and claims, as well as other needs associated with client accounts, team leadership, and company practices.

As a licensed insurance agent, I was responsible for implementing sales with customers and ensuring proper policy maintenance. Communicating needs among all parties involved was a crucial part of my duties and taught me vital skills in organization, critical-thinking, and time-management.

I have both a passion and proven skills in insurance, management, customer service and problem-solving, and I have a desire to continue to develop my skills in this industry. I am a quick learner, energetic, adaptive, responsible, committed, and a team player. The opportunity to apply my skills at UnitedHealth Group and the available position would allow me to combine what I love to do with what I have trained to do.
